Overview

Software engineers translate human problems into working systems — apps, platforms, embedded devices and AI services. The role blends analytical rigour with creative design and increasingly requires collaboration with AI copilots.

A typical day

  • Pair-program on new features and review peers' code
  • Debug production issues with logs, metrics and traces
  • Design system architecture in whiteboard sessions
  • Ship, monitor and iterate on releases
